RIVER TO RIVER ROAD CROSSING SIGNS

The STC paid for horse crossing signs to be made and then erected them along the River to River to alert motorists of the crossing ahead.  The River to River trail crosses many busy roads that have poor visibility at the crossings.

Installation was accomplished by three of our directors, Terry Wheeler, Kenny Wiseman, and Jack Flammang.  One sign has been stolen several times, but replaced.  The goal is to provide an additional safety precaution for equestrians and hikers as they cross these busy roadways.
